We have such a strange collection of books on our shelves. Here are a few.

Got my car fixed today, should have taken a picture of that! But you kno, then all you see is a picture of a car looking pretty normal.

Boring! I tried to recreate a shot i did a few nights ago but didn't upload here, I failed. This was the best of what I had for today.

I was trying to get arty on the roof and take pictures of stuff and also the sunset. That sort of failed, so then I tried a few pictures of the city and this was the best I could get. There was this sort of purpley/blue haze but I couldn't quite capture it the way i wanted to and since this project 365 is photoshop free, this is the best it is gonna be!

So today I walked like 7km around my local area with astro, went all the way down King Street and then into 'Ersk' as the locals like to call it. Had a nice day wandering and looking at stuff in the various and wide variety of shops.
But on my walkabout adventure I only ended up taking one shot of something that was interesting at the time but turned out crap. So I head to the roof before to practice some night shooting. Forgot everything that I taught myself last year (which was limited anyway) so I took probably 100 crap shots up before I came up with this one. Which isn't particularly good either, but the best of a shoddy bunch.

I'm sure I'll manage some better night shots before this project is out.

This is all you are going to get for a photo today, we were suppose to drive to Newcastle today for exploring times but instead my car decided to start running very lean and shaky somewhere over in North Sydney on our way out (Btw it had been running perfectly for the last few months.) So we came home and then went for a walk down Parramatta Rd near out place, we ended up walking pretty far and I had a nice time with astro looking at all the weird little shops out that way, including this one, supposedly it sells MEAT!

Taken outside the Sydney Museum, I took quite a few pictures today, even went down to the Circular Quay for a while, can never get a picture of the harbour bridge or opera house that I actually like.

How is it all the interesting things happen to photograph when all I have is a mobile phone? This was a protest outside the old Parliament house on Macquarie Street, CBD. They were protesting about keep the National Arts School or something, it was pretty loud with a lot of whistles, drum beating and chanting. I didn't sign this petition because I was in a hurry to get back to work, usually I do but Martin Place and the surrounding areas are really becoming a protest happy ground lately with too many causes vying for your time.

Back at work today, this shot was taken on my way home in The Strand arcade in the city. Some spicy/bad(?) food from Melbourne is still trying to commit burning manslaughter on me from the inside out. Hope I feel better tomorrow!

I see Blogger has eaten some of my photos, see if I can fix that up shortly. Might try moving this stuff to a proper domain soon.

What a fatty. In Melbourne today, had a good time, great to catch up with people, really tired now!

Still at home in Victoria, moving on to Melbourne tomorrow if anyone wants to catch up!

Breakfast of Champions - The multigrain bacon and egg roll with cheese and BBQ sauce from MacDonalds. I had to stop for one today on the way to work as I was starving, even though I was running 10 minutes late.

This was taken around 5:30pm ish today on the 28th floor of my work building. I sorta went up to this floor by accident cause I got in the wrong elevator to go home (complicated story). We really do have a fantastic view from this building looking north-east out of the CBD. You'll probably be see more (and hopefully better) pictures like these.

This photo was taken on Phillip St in Sydney near my work. Currently there is a Bogong invasion happening in Sydney and it has been happening for about a month now, they are everywhere. Flying around on the street, big clumps of them in any dark doorway in the city, they are in our offices, even though they'd have to fly through my doors and travel many levels, one was in my bag the other day, on the bus, on my 6 o'clock news, EVERYWHERE! The one thing I have noticed about Sydney is the bugs, astro commented on her blog about insects eating her plants, they also have fruit fly up here, this Bogong thing, shitload of flies at Coogee beach, hell even some sort of bee/wasp invasion was happening 3 or 4 Saturdays ago at a major intersection on Parramatta Road. I can't escape them....

So this is the start of my project 365, we'll see how long I last. So this photo has like, all my daily stuff valuables just thrown into a big mess like it is every day. I have my passport which I haven't put away since getting back from New Zealand, my iPod with astro's headphones which i have totally destroyed (I'll buy you new ones!), my big old Sony cans I've had for like, 7 years now. My new mobile phones which was has taken such a beating since I've gotten it. My photo id pass thing to get into the buildings at work, my watch which I got for my 18th birthday, the all important 10 trip bus pass up the back, my cufflinks astro gave me for birthday last year (I forgot if it was xmas your birthday, whoops!), just under that is the all important cashz0r, my keys are covered up by the white door/elevator pass for home, and my black DS lite is buried in there too!
