Since Arthur C Clarke died this week, I've been very interested in reading more of his work. I've started with a few short stories such as 'The Nine Billion Names of God' & 'The Star'. I am going to move on to his novels shortly, astro go excited and started pulling out books for me to read already!

Taken at the Tibet protest at the Chinese consulate near my place, it was a pretty emotional scene, and there was way to many police for the amount of people there. The trouble makers seemed to be the usual crowd that get wind of a protest and turn up to fight with cops.

Baketball shoes I bought about 6 months ago, they were $70 and were pretty good when I first got them. Now for some reason I can't wear them without getting sore afterwards, even after the usual modification I do to shoes to fix that up, damn.

I can reconfirm that I really don't like his art, granted he was pretty clever for his time, but he basically mastered a technique first, that made him famous and then he lived off that the rest of his life and never really seemed to progress. Oh well, not like I can say I've done any better though!

Taken at my sisters house in Brisbane, these teddies looked really familar, like I use to play with them when I was little or something, although I can't place whenre exactly it was.

Down playing Basketball with some guys, played really bad tonight, no energy and ended up making a big blister on the bottom of my foot, great. It was also really hot in there tonight.

Sigh, getting old make it so much harder to stay fit.

Yeah it was a slow photo day.

Just outside the RBA today, you can always tell if there is a good chance of a rate rise by the amount of reporters and the seriousness of the equipment they bring, if they have a truck for a live cross, definte rise, if it is just a few story shots in the morning and then afternoon most likely, if there is just one or two guys with a camera, outside chance, no one turns up, no rise.

Damn, bad shot, but this was taken inside parliament house in Sydney, it is right near what has to be the smallest and most secure (you have to walk through a metal detector to get there) Australia Post outlet in the world, it is a tiny tiny room, but with the most friendliest staff. That isn't a water feature in the photo, it is just some crazy plastic thing near some water. They sure know how to make art around here.

EDIT: Oh wait, there is water coming off it, that does make it a water feature, negative 3 votes for me.

I've been listening to this mix CD pretty much all weekend, every time I play it I like it more, I was pretty indifferent when I first heard it, but 'tis goooood.

Taken at Surry Hills market, sorta like the Camberwell market but not as good. I had a nice day though.
